Starting the train station, head towards the river. Following this northbound, on the EuroVelo5, for a few kms until Schendelbeke, where quite roads continue north, passing the castle and lake at Munte. Heading back along the river, passingby Gavere, Nederename and Oudenaarde for the cycle path F45 and VL Heuvel and the EuroVelo5 once again. Finish at the church, on the top of the famous Geraardsbergen cobled hill
