Start at the veoldrome parking, pass the race track  and pick up the F5 south along the canal. Cross over at Stokrooie, but continue next to the waters edge and then the railway line. Pick up the water again and the F722, entering The Netherlands. The route goes through the countryside, trees, the water and is flat terrain - perfect for a cyclist. There's no time for shopping at Masmechelen because a coffee awaits at a converted train station, at 67.5k. More cyclepaths follow, VL Kempen XXX all the way to Abdijhhoeve and Zonhoven. There are small lakes and camp grounds just before the finish.
