A flat-to-gently-rolling loop north out of Brussels, following the Zenne and Scheldt valleys toward Temse before looping back through the Flemish Brabant countryside. The outbound leg is largely flat, tracing quiet lanes and towpaths through Vilvoorde, Zemst, Micelen, Rumst, Boom and the polder villages along the Scheldt, with Temse's wonderful cyclepath setting as the natural turning point roughly halfway round. The return leg winds through the countryside, picking up some welcome, gentle climbs at Meise, before dropping back into Brussels. At 103 km with under 200m of total climbing, it's an accessible ride for all.
